07 dodge 2500 6.7

Yesterday I was driving down the freeway at about 70 when all of a sudden my truck down shifted pretty hard twice and then died. All the dash lights stayed on and everything seems to still be working just fine as far as interior goes, but it doesnít even try to crank over. Also noticed the fuel pump and turbo do not try to cycle when I turn the key on so itís seeming like thereís no ACC power and it does not display what gear itís in on the instrument cluster. Suggestions?

Have you checked battery conditions, cables and connections? Also check the multiple grounds on the truck to make sure they are all connected and clean.

I have plugged into it and it's not showing any codes. I have also tried checking the wiring and plugs and such around and to the transmission and haven't found anything that looks like it could have caused it. I have checked the ground wires on the batteries, and they are good and completing the circuit. I read somewhere that the ignition switch going out can cause this and to try jostling the steering wheel around to see if it goes, and I tried that and nothing. When it first died on me, everything on the dash was in fact working still, and it wasn't until the day after that it quit showing me the gear positions on the instrument cluster, if that helps at all. If there's any other questions I can try to answer, I'd be happy to, just feel like I've told the story enough times now that I'm questioning what's relevant and what's not.
