Oil leak

After I changed the oil in my 6.7, I found that there is a little engine oil dripping from the bottom of the AC compressor. Since the oil filter is above it, I figured the oil filter was loose. But there was no oil dripping from the bottom of the oil filter and I couldn't tighten it any more by hand. I did get it a little tighter with a strap wrench.

Is there something else in that area that I should look for?

Thanks

How much oil? Id clean it all out with degreaser and a hose, then see if you can get a better ID on the leak location in a day.

The old oil filter rubber gasket did stay on there, making it double stack with the new one did it?

I doubled checked the oil filter. It's not leaking. Cleaned the area and went for a drive. The oil is definitely coming from the AC pump. Very thick, amber colored oil.

Could be. I don't know if that's something they can fix or if they just replace the entire compressor
