Hid Lights

Hey everyone I’ve got an 08 6.7 and before I had the stock head light and fog light bulbs and I switch over to some HID I bought off eBaY and they work good like they bright and nice color for the head lights and fog lights but some reason the low beams were doing that hyper flashing so I bought some plug in restor kit that goes from the stock harness to the hid harness and it fixed the problem but some weird reason now only the right side switches like from low beam to high beam on and off and can’t see to see why it’s just that one side but if I put on high beams they work just fine no issues

have you contacted the EBAY vendor or the resistor vendor to talk with them?

Yeah told em and sent a video of it and all they did was send me new light for the head lights and the resistor plug ins and I installed them and still same thing but I put the stock oem headlights in and they work just fine but once I put these hid ones in it does it am thinking I just spend the extra money next time and buy a good brand

You bought cheap crap and probably don't have the correct relay harness. The factory housings are not designed for HIDs. Put halogens back in until you're ready to do an actual upgrade. Brighter and "cool color" does not mean they perform better.

That harness is probably not the right ones for our ram, I have one and it works with no problem.

That's one of the reasons why I'm not a fan of those cheap ebay HID lights.

had good luck with headlight revolution over the past few years. picked up a few different bulbs and harnesses.

Very tempted to try their updated Fog light stuff.

I personally dont get it... my stock lights are bright enough, been using them a long time without issues. You we dont need to upgrade everything? Some things are just fine as is.

Im guessing their stuff is LED. Odds they will be around 6000k which will be less useful in the fog. The stock halogen bulb will perform better in the fog then 5000k+ bulbs. I made my own fog lights and i use 3000k HIDs in them.
