Cost of front end

So I talked to a local diesel mechanic who I know well and was wondering the price of replacing the tie rod, upper ball joints, and lower ball joints. He said it would be around 1500 for everything labor and parts. Is that a pretty decent price? I could do them myself but don’t really have the time.

To me it's a bit high but I'm sure comparable. But then again I have friends that own mechanic shops and that helps. For me, It's worth having a shop do it as they can have my truck in and out in a day or two where it would take me a week😬
