Thoughts on theses headlights?

Thought? I normally like stock but I keep seeing these and there kinda growing on me. My truck is all stock in the looks department. So maybe they will be out of place.

Also, if there garbage light I donít want them. I wouldnít mind a little brighter now that I live where thereís deer everywhere, kinda what got me looking and I dont know squat about building custom HIDs

Hmmmmm. I do not have an opinion to offer in terms of personal experience with the lights you linked to. But thank you for the link. I just got done replacing the grille and front bumper on my truck, and now the headlights look like the weak link on my truck front end. I'll be considering those lights as an option because lights from retrofit source run $800 plus and I'm not sure if I'm ready for that kind of hit to my wallet yet.

Before:

After:

As you can see, suddenly the stock headlights look old. I'll be considering those amazon lights as a serious option. The truck goes to the shop this coming week for a complete front end rebuild, including Carli's BJ's, coils, Fox shocks, end links, track bar, synergy steering upgrade, rear leaf springs, etc etc. It will be leveled 3" as well.

I've just purchased the headlights in s10010001's OG post. I'll update this thread with my thoughts and pictures once I get them installed.

I’ve never had those particular ones but I did buy some aftermarket ones from amazon once. I took them off and gave them away in short order. Stick with the oem’s if you’re particular about your truck.

Theres a lot of cheap crap out there, and some good stuff thats cheap(ish). I agree, most of the aftermarket headlights for under $150 are garbage, cheap materials, casts of casts. But there are aftermarkets that are better quality. My friend has some $240 OEM clones on his 09' Tundra. He went thru 3 sets of cheapies then stepped up a little in price and found an excellent set. No condensation, excellent OEM like light pattern, and so far no yellowing.

Paying for OEM is not on the table for my 12yo truck personally, ill just keep my OEMs that I have sanded and cleared.

Yeah I agree with s10010001, lots of cheap garbage on Amazon. The ones that are $150 and under usually have condensation issues, seal issues, or water in the headlight assembly, etc etc. Read the reviews on the sub $150 ones on Amazon. There are pictures too.

The ones linked in the OP's post do not appear to have those issues, and they are $300. As soon as they come in on Thursday, I'm giving the truck a wash to see if the seal will hold. Will take pictures of the light pattern of the stock lights vs the lights in the OP's post.

There are two things I did which were the most budget friendly and seemed to really make a difference. My current headlights are still in good condition.

1.) Changed the bulbs to Sylvania Ultra headlight bulbs. Found a good price on ebay.
2.) Adjusted the aim of the headlights. I used the alignment procedure for my old Grand Cherokee. I have also attached the procedure from the 2008 Dodge Ram service manual. There are slight differences between the two but found the Grand Cherokee procedure quick and easy to do.
