Acceleration Loss HELP

I just recently had my built tranny installed on my truck, and now it seems like the truck is lacking a little on the acceleration side of things?

Before the tranny was installed, I was driving around on "manual mode" to keep the truck out of the 4th gear and overdrive. Even doing this now, with the new tranny, seems like the acceleration is decreasing?

Could it be that I am just getting use to the switch from my gasser ford? Of could all the heavier internals of the tranny actually create a decrease in acceleration?

How many miles have you put on the tranny?
Did they do the relearn on it when they installed it?
What do you mean by accelerating but decreasing? Rpms going up but speed going down or???

I have roughly 700 km on the tranny. And it seems like it's getting worse (acceleration wise). Yes they did the re learn on it.

And for example before it accelerated (just random numbers) from 0 - 80 in 6 seconds. It's progressively gotten worse to the point it's now at (again random numbers) 0 - 80 in 7 1/2 seconds.
The time frame it takes to get up to speed is longer in duration now.

For craps n giggles try reloading your tune and do another test run. See if you drop that 1 seconds or not.

come to think of it, I did re load the programmer after the tranny was installed. Checked for updates and made sure everything was ok after they unplugged it.

Thanks Ill try that this weekend

Just figured id let you guys know... I found and fixed the problem..

Apparently when I updated my Mini Maxx (or it was when the tuner was unplugged while installing the tranny), for some reason my rail pressure and timing were changed back to stock setting.

I re loaded my tuner and changed the rail pressure and timing settings and wala, got my power and acceleration back!

Broke loose, stomping on it @ 80km/h...

Also, for all you coal rollers, I did increase the timing a little more than my previous settings and it does pour a fair bit more smoke.
