Description: Great cold air intake kit made by S&B. This is the newest version. It flows better than the old kit and design/fitment is much better. To make things better, S&B has an upgrade program. If you have the old version CAI, you can upgrade to the newest version for around half the price of the new kit. More info @:
Seems to be a good system, have had it on my truck for a little while now. Easy to install and the price is hard to beat for a full system. Makes that turbo scream!
Great CAI. Was a breeze to install, the clear lid is handy to tell me if it needs to be cleaned. It has been on my truck for almost 20,000 miles. Saw a 4MPG gain when I installed it over stock.

Pros
Price, quality, performance
Cons
finish-tubing has bubbles in it, made me wonder if it was sealed
easy to install, love the clear lid to see how the filter is doing. so far no mud or water marks in the housing, so does a great job keeping water out itself. not as bulky as i thought it was by looking at picture and does a great job.

Pros
clear inspection plate, complete piping, protects against water and heat.
GREAT SOUND REALLY LETS YOU HEAR THE AIR BEING SUCKED INTO THE TURBO. I BOUGHT THE INTAKE FOR $289 WITH FREE SHIPPING AND THE SCOOP FOR $99 FREE SHIPPING.
Love it, Easy to install and great color instructions! I ordered the CIA first and picked up the scoop later, my air temps stay right about 10 degree's above outside temp on most days below 90, can get a little warmer above that.

Pros
Clear cover to see filter, easy install, great fit!
Cons
Screws on clear plate tend to work their way loose.
Had mine on for yrs now. Noticed no increase in mileage(no matter how I drive) or power. How can you notice 10hp on a truck that weighs this much? Anyway I have the oiled filter. When I do clean it I find no dust or anything inside the filter tube so it is filtering well. Other than that...I guess you are on your own.
i got the intake elbow and cold air combo the elbow im not impressed with but the intake is great instaled in about 10 min sounds cool looks cool love it.
i put a cold air intake on my new 2012 dodge 3500 diesel that i just bought. if i floor pedal the service air filter light comes on and also check engine light- Any one have any suggestions as to how to fix this? Jules www.antiquecarfarmnj.com
This thing really lets you hear the turbo! Truck is alot louder now. Mine is a 99 2wd . My mods are the intake, a straight pipe, and FASS 150. Butt dyno didnt register any gains but it sure sounds sweet.
First of all, I'd like to thank Ryan Bitoon of S&B for allowing me to do this. This install was pretty straight forward. It calls for a little over 3 hours to complete and you'll need every minute of it if you take your time. This install will take time and effort since it has the Ram Active Air. The instructions could have been just a little more clear on which way the gaskets needed to be installed. Other than that it's pretty straight forward, just take your time! The intake sounds really good and the exhaust brake sounds even better! It has a nice rumble at idle. I did install the lid but may remove it later on. Also the kit comes with a light that can be installed anywhere in the truck that tells you if the Ram Active Air is activated, I chose not to install it today for the sake of time. Hope you guys enjoy the pics and kinda crappy video but I do recommend S&B if you're looking to help your 2013/2014 Cummins breath better!

I installed this along with the elbow piece that S&B offers and both are very good. I highly recommend the dry filter over the oiled one. I've had it for several years now with no problems other than the clear piece over the filter becoming foggy.
