Description: Replaces the factory throttle positioning sensor (TPS) and gives control of overdrive shift point.

My tranny wasn't locking, was hunting at 40 thru 55mph, I was afraid I had to replace the tranny ( 96 47re 2500 2wd) or torque converter. I installed kit yesterday and have local and I-10 miles on it. I am so very pleased, tranny is working great, set to middle of range on adjustment. Wish I installed 2 months ago.

Pros: Easy install, Inexpensive - Fixes a common problem
Cons: None

Works great, Easy Install. Inexpensive. I had set to full clockwise and tran was not locking, drove like this for about 20 miles at 70 85 mph. Soo...I finally pulled my head from my and remembered that the product description said to adjust it, soo I set to full left and the TC Locked RPMs dropped from 2500 at 75-80 with a slipping TC to 2200 at 85 and pulling strong.

Now, I have it adjusted to center of adjustment range and tran shifts properly through all the gears, the 3-4 hunt is gone. Best $ I have spent on this truck.
