Description: Since this is just a filter not an intake system I think it's better than a bhaf. I saw a dramatic decrease in egt's and added boost pressure. Cleans up nicely, gives the turbo a nice whistle if you got your silencer mia, costed me 60$ at pepboys and can be bought at any average autopart store.

Pros: ??
Cons: dont filter air

Had a KnN CAI on 06 and got dirt inside. Like you could wipe the dirt of the inside the intake tube and easily feel the grit between your fingers. Got a aFe now.

Pros: Drop in, cost is same as factory.
Cons: You are halfway to a AFE. No noticeable gain.

Fit fine, but the rubber is so soft that the filter would flex into the filterminder thing and always said change filter. I called and they said it is common because the rubber is so flexible. I still have mine in the garage in my stock air box. Always nervous about oil on the turbo, how much dirt gets by, is it in the right way?

Get AFE dry and sleep at night.

Pros: easy install and can hear the turbo nicely afterwards
Cons: BLEW UP MY TURBO AFTER 20 MILES

Got the CAI system on my 04.5 20 miles later turbo self destructed. Upon rebuilding the engine found dust inside the intake plenum and that was it. Have a BHAF on the K&N Tube now.

Pros: EZ and works!
Cons: Used in plain ole stock intake box

K&N air filter, in my 08. The drop in flat kind that went into my stock air box.

Can't be sure or exactly sure. But I'm getting according to my overhead fuel Milage reader, a gallon and a half better fuel mileage!

Just up and down the road, no big long hiway drives as of yet.

Bought what was with tax at Pepboys and Advanced auto (a replacement K&N flat filter) that they wanted 80 bucks or more w/ tax!!!

I got the exact same thing off Ebay to my door no tax and no shipping for 64 bucks!!

Right there was a significant savings!!!! That I can put into something else.

I ran the same exact K&N replacement filter in a gas Ford F-250 for 150,000 miles. Of course I cleaned it about every 50K.

So, for those on a budget, look around on ebay and drop in a new K&N today.
Ya just may see a bit of improvement in the MPG's as I did.
