Description:
|
This is the product of choice for optimal winter operation. Diesel Fuel SupplementŪ contains the most effective antigel additive package available in the diesel industry - no blending with No.1 diesel or kerosene is needed to achieve maximum winter protection. The cetane improver in Diesel Fuel Supplement provides up to 4 numbers of cetane boost for easier cold starts and a smoother running engine, while detergents clean fuel injectors to provide more power and less fuel consumption.
While it is preferable to use Diesel Kleen in the non-winter months for maximum injector clean-up and a cetane boost of 4 numbers, Diesel Fuel Supplement can be used on a year-around basis. Although Diesel Fuel Supplement is an antigel, it will not harm your engine to use year-around.

I have run several tanks with both the anti-gell and cetane booster. Didn't work as advertised, cetane booster made no difference and the supplement contains mostly a mix of #1 and #2 diesel with a few additives thrown in after seeing some research a few people did.

All I can say is I use it in my dodge and my K.W with a 625 H.P. cat in it and my fuel never jelled up once and my fuel system is clean incl my fuel tanks no water detected at all in the tanks. Fuel seperator had a little water but not as mush as it used too. I run across I-90 and I94 in the winter and north dakota can get mighty cold never a problem using this product.

I am new to owning a diesel. I have a 2006 Dodge 3500. I bought this truck with 13,680 miles and now I have 14,450. I have used about 1/2 the small container of Diesel Kleene to 25 gals. My readout was 19.2 and now it is 19.7The speed limit is 55 and I set the cruise at 59 with the tach showing 1600rpm. I rated this product a 6 only because there are other benifits listed that I have not witnessed.

I use the "Diesel Kleen" and I am sold on the product. Quieter engine, achieved 19.8 mpg@ 75mpg (#2fuel) The product pays for its self. 2 cycle oil quited things down but I lost 4 mpg.

I ran the "White" for several years and frankly I didn't notice any difference. It does work as an anti gel. However this year I have run all winter without it and temps have been to -20 F. I even let the truck sit for 36 hours at -20 F not plugged in with B-2 bio-diesel. The fuel pressure was down to about 3-5 psi for few minutes untill it warmed up. I say this is the limit for no antigell however. I just use Walmart 2 stroke and when it is expected to get below-15 F I add some "white". I also use it if I go out of town and need to get fuel at unknown stations.

Cons:

Not enough knowledge of options

So far I have ran 3 35gal tanks with either the Diesel Kleen or "white". I like the idea of makeing and keeping my fuel system clean. Diffrent diesel mfg, have diffrent qualities. This brings the lower up and makes the higher better.

I've ran this stuff for years with no complaints. When I changed my injector nozzles they looked great with 75K. Too bad I had to send them back for cores.
