Description: Stage 2 Cold Air Intake from aFe for 1994-2002 Dodge Rams with Cummins Diesel Engine. This is a high flow unit that should offer a great increase in power, performance and lower EGT's for your Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel.

Pros: quicker turbo spool up
Cons: had to wrestle air tube a little to get to fit properly

I did not have an egt gauge prior to installation so I can not attest to that side of it,but I did experience a noticably quicker turbo spool up with little extra noise. I do still have the factory silencer installed and do not want my truck any louder than it already is. This product was great in these respects.

Installation was easy, can be done in less than 10 minutes in a driveway with normal hand tools. Tube did not fit as well as I would have liked it. It is very important to make sure you have no non filtered air gtting into your engine. These engines can be ruined very quickly with very little dirty air into them. I am satisfied with its fit but it did take a bit of wrestling and tweaking to get it right.

overall an excellent product

Pros: Does as advertised
Cons: Looks and air draw

Over all looking at the stage 2 the fit is expected. I personaly do not like the tube running over the turbo. The air pulled from the fender again. I can flow more air with an stage 1 and a torque tube using the mega canon top. Just my istalling experience.

Pros: Quicker spool up, lower egts, mpg up
Cons: It could look better that it does, The way you have to oil it

They could come powder coated a color of choice. Should be a simple way to oil it. But other than that its great.

Pros: runs cooler
Cons:

Pros: Good power and great fuel mileage.Runs cooler.
Cons: It was a lot nosier than I wanted.

Install was OK and very solid. Box is big and fit great. Only problem was noise. Made a loud rumbling sound and turbo wine was annoying, just to loud and very irritating. I filled in opening from top on intake box to fender with a piece of aluminum sheet metal. Leaving a 2" opening at back by opening near hood hinge for better air intake. It worked great cut down noise and still gives all the air motor can use, with my current Mods. Without sheet metal noise reverberates under hood big time. Can still here turbo wine all the time.

Pros: Better turbo spooling
Cons: None

I am a big fan of the AFE intake system. I got the PRO GAURD 7 filter. I love the turbo whine and i like the freed up ponys. I would definatly go through with it again.

Pros: Does as advertise
Cons: Tight fit
