Air Filter Durability.....DRY vs Oiled

OK just took these pics. imagine how many times you take your oiled filter in and out and how you sometime have to straighten out the pleats after you put the filter back in. sorry for the cell phone pics but it's the only camera i have right now.

now how many times can you straighten out those pleats before the wire mesh breaks and pokes you in the finger.
