It's official

The dually is now the most unreliable truck I have owned.
It has sat broke down waiting for parts longer then any other truck I have owned. It has been unusable for more then 8 weeks solid.

And has now cost more to keep running then my Toyota, Suburban, Jeep and Dakota combined. Both in down time and parts cost.

Four starters
Two lift pumps
Two fuel shutdown solenoids
Grid Heater relays
Alternator
5th gear
Headlamp switch
Fuel shutdown relay
Clutch hydraulics
Brake lamp switch
Clutch safety switch. (granted I just spliced the wires so it has no safety switch but still a pain)
Major fuel return hose leak
Fuel level sending unit

Been hooked to a tow truck twice and a friend's truck once for a tow. The truck has not even made it to 125,000 miles yet.

Come on Gordon. Some of us would LOVE to only be broke down for 8 weeks. Dont' be a drama queen

Like the whining from multimillionaire football players and billionaire owners that say they don't make enough and now next season is questionable...no sympathy from me

I'm workin on 9 months and it doesn't look like anytime soon

(I hope you're picking up the sarcasm here....)

So, what's the problem now? I know you've been waiting on parts awhile...maybe I missed it?

I'm thinking pressure killed the injectors. So...yes and no on self-infliction I suppose.

I'm swallowing my pride and taking it in next week. I'm just tired of wrenching on the damn thing

I know how you feel. It gets old fixing when you want to be tuning and adding more too it.

Maybe its just where we live lol

The Cat in my roll off just quit on me today. No check engine lights just lost all power. Would only pull itself in 1st gear. So it got towed to Freightliner.
