badger truck pullers RANT!

ok so my home town of waukesha had a pull yesterday at the fairgrounds for the county fair, it was put on by the badger truck pullers association. They did not run a street diesel class only mod street (where i wouldnt have a chance also no fire suit, helmet, or driveshaft loops on my truck)they told us it was cuz of some sort of saftey reason that waukesha county didnt want them, even though there were 9 of us already there! if there was some sort of safety then why a stock open top tractor class where they have nothing, not even a helmet. so all of us were really unhappy since they had it in the past years. So next there was another pull in Hellenville, the hellenville super nationals. We take the 30min drive up there (different county) and they then tell us there that they dont have lights to run the class into the night tho i was there last year and they had the same lights they still had there now. I stayed the whole time i left there around 12:30am after guess what, stock street GAS! and yes the lights were nice and bright. BTPA is really lame wont see me at another one of there pulls.

Sorry to hear that, there is a community fair here that will not let us pull either. I dont understand there reasoning behind it, these rig's will put on a better show than the stock gasser's.

I really hate when a pull puts the diesel classes last due to the fact that diesels are less popular than the gas pullers!!!I want to see one 6200 or 6500 gas truck being driven to work the next day and also blowing black smoke 40 feet into the air..

They probably stopped having the street class, because it makes some people/greenies scared that a "street legal" truck can do that!!!
