Saturday March 24th is a big meet at Mike's in Northwood, ND that a lot of the MN crew are heading to. Might want to pick another weekend so we don't have 2 dyno meets on the same weekend.

I would think we could get 15 trucks easy enough. Any date will work for me. (I hope anyways) How much were they looking for on the daily rate? I have never dyno'd before but I would think 15 trucks would run thru pretty quick. Not all day. But maybe that would give us a chance to run some different setups!

I would imagine it takes about 15 minutes per truck. I have never dynoed my truck, but I have other vehicles. When I was going to UTI, we ran 10-15 times per day in some classes. I should know tomorrow what the daily and hourly rate would be. When I find that out, we can decide where we want to have it, the date, and how many grills we need to bring to keep everyone fed.

Just a little update; today the shop in Stevens Point got back to me with a daily rate. After I thought about it, I think it would be much easier if we did a per-truck rate. I am going to send them an e-mail tonight to see if I can go over there this Saturday and work out the details. I'll let you know if I can go over and talk with them. Joe

One more thing; would you guys prefer the first or third Saturday in April? Also please post if you are interested, or can make it one of those weekends. Thanks, Joe

Joe the place you are speaking of is K&S Diesel just north of Stevens Point. They have an event every year and like to do one when the weather is a little warmer. There dyno is a Mustang 250 and it is in the floor, however they take it out side put the ramps on it and away ya go. Now for the bad news, there 250 is no better tahn the one we had, it just does not read the numbers right, some trucks can be real low in numbers and sometimes they can be high. They too are waiting for a software upgrade as we were for 2 year from Mustang, we gave up and sold it. So if ya go the experiance is great, but don't feel to bad if your numbers are low, and you can get more than 10 trucks...........there board from the last run is still up and they had at least 20 pulls.
Joe I still don't understand why you have to sell? I drive 45 miles one way everyday with my truck........it is very comfortable. Later guys.

Actually it isn't k&S. It is D & D Mods and Rods. They have an in-floor dynojet. The main reason I went with thme is because they have a dynojet instead of a mustang. On a side note, I am now thinking about keeping my truck. I just don't know what to do

Unfortunately, due to the nature of my job, it's hard to plan an exact weekend. I'm in, if I'm not on the road.

Joe, I lived in Menomonie for a few years in the early '90s - on the Red Cedar. I travel to our cabin in Chetek quite often - we should meet sometime this Spring.

Anymore info on a dyno day? I have a tst powermax 3 on the way. I would like to dyno with the drag comp and pm3 just to see what the difference is. Then I will be looking to get rid of one of them. Not sure right now but, I really do like the drag comp.
