Diesel shops

Was wondering were you guys take your trucks "If you don't do the work yourself" to get em tuned up and what kind of service you get. Do you have to crawl underem and re tighten stuff when you get it back etc.

We dont have a shop but my brother in law and father in law do ALL of our own work...Been thinking about doing outside work also. Our only downfall is lack of knowledge on automatics but mine is ready to fail...time to learn
