Want B&W Turnover gooseneck hitch or similar for Dodge

Looking for a disappearing ball gooseneck hitch, complete, like B&W, to fit an 06 Dodge 3500 Mega. Could be another brand. NOT a 5th wheel, just a ball in the bed. Am in Calif.

just FYI the B&W one is a few inches closer to the cab than the Drawtite, Reese, Hidden hitch(all the same thing with different stickers on them) ones.

bc of this, and having a short bed, i went with the draw tite on my 2500 06. worked like a champ and easy install. same thing a ball that comes out flips over and goes in.

i did buy the B&W 4" extender and use that to. just had to cut a little length off the shaft. for it to work. same size and shape on both B&W and other brands just longer shaft.

Couple of questions: why is the B&W ball closer to the cab? I know their instructions give a distance from the tailgate to drill the hole. Does it have to be exactly there for it to bolt up properly underneath?

So you used the extender to get your DrawTite ball to the rear of the axle line? If so is that because your trailer is wide at the front? I'm planning to pull a flatbed with a relatively narrow gooseneck so I'm wondering if I'll have cab clearance problems if the hitch is over the axle or even forward like you say where the B&W puts it. I haven't bought a trailer yet or measured them carefully so am learning here.

Thanks for the info.

the B&W is closer bc thats just the way it is built/mounts

yes you have to drill the hole per the specs on instlation sheet or the "plate" that mounts under the bed wont line up and fit.

i used the extender bc i was pulling a full nose enclosed cargo trailer
