I would replace it so you don't get stranded someplace.

Your best friend will be a fuel pressure gauge, and a good supply system

I have been looking @ fuel gauges but guess I am too late.A mechanic here in C'ville says I should install a Holley Blue for the lift when I replace the Injection pump.I can pretty much bet I will be doing business with you fellows in the near future! Thanks

In most cases a the Holley is a band aid at best, the method by which they are internally regulated aerates the fuel, not good...

kutman, I feel your pain, I just purchased a vp44 and a fass through Midwest fuel injection go to dieselstore.com and check them out. I put it in in a weekend, it's not an awful job to do, I've done worse. I don't regret the fass and the additional gauges, they are a must!!!!
