Moving to VA in June
hello all, I am a new CTD owner , and I am moving to Virgina in about 3-4 weeks. I live in NC right now. I just bought an 2003 quad cab dually and was really wanting to straight pipe it. Will it pass inspection in Va? Anyone running a straight pipe in Va have any problems? thanks, I am learning soooooo much

Yeah man, they dont check for that here. They just check your plates and do a 10 sec walk around your truck.

i'm going to have to agree and disagree with JAY7 on this one...i agree they don't check for the straight pipe, but you have to watch where you take it, since there are some guys out there that are still by the book...

I have mine inspected by the dealer and they haven't said squat about my straight pipe. From what I understand you do need to keep the kitty on though. Just be wary who you take it to. Once you get here let us know and we'll point you in the right direction.

You will be fine there, you are well south of Richmond and Nova where police are a bit more restrictive.
