2001 with 160k miles. The first 60k it was hooked on a 3car hauler with the dealer ship. I've owned since 60k and have half towing a 36ft 3horse slant with Edge/Att on Stage 2. Stage 5 when just cruising which is putting about 320Hp on the ground.

if im not mistaken second gear is run off a band not the clutch pack so your band is probly burnt out ... well it could be couple things but it does have to do with the band and its components ... but im just guessing ...

Mine is in the shop right now. 2nd time the bearing/bushing holding the input shaft in has bitten the dust.
3500 dollars each time.

Hey all, HTS is the way to go. Dusty fixed me up and left some $$ in my pocket. All I can say is WOW I never thought a transmission could perform like this one!

47re Troubles

I also have the same problem, when the tranny is cold it goes into limp mode until i turn it off then turn it back on. I was told that was a problem resulting in torque converter drainback. Ive considered goin ATS but i cant afford one right now, but now i believe my trans may be goin all to heck, the fluid is discolored. Im takin my truck to get the tranny serviced asap. Also my truck has 155,000 on it with no problems yet except for limp mode and once it reaches operatin temp its fine, or once the converter fills up with fluid, i have heard the pump doesnt run while in N or P??? i dunno if thats true or not but im just throwin that out there.
