Crazycatman, if your hauling from your house it wouldn't be hard or all that expensive to build a lift with winches for the cap, you would probably need 10 or so 10ft 4x4, some lag bolts,4 pulleys, cable or you could get away with rope, andyou could use come-a-longs to winch it up. That mini excavator does look heavy on there, that kit you're talking about would be awesome.

Ya... I need to get off my a$$ and do that. I built a fixture that goes under the canopy then I lift it off with the excavator. The only problem is I need one other person to help get the fixture under the canopy. Sounds like I have another project to add to the list of stuff to get done this winter. I even have a shelf in my shop to set the canopy on, but right now I have so much cr@p in the way I can't get to it!

I have been talking with a buddy about designing one for him, if there is someone who makes a kit that would be cool.

The few 'conversions' I have seen done use the existing ball tongue, which I do not like. I think it is asking for problems considering how much farther the ball is on a gooseneck.

I second that. I'm sure someone will find it. I'll look again later tonight.
