Your telling ME about pulling trailers? I have a 38 foot Forest River Canadian Sport Toy Box I bought brand new in 2001. I have the onboard Onan 3700 propane genie. I have an extra 100 gallon fresh water tank for a total of 200 gallons of fresh water on board. You do not count all waters weight since you can only hold total what your fresh water is. Fresh water out into grey or black. My trailer with nothing in the back but full of water weighs 16K and the pin fully loaded is 2900. When I load a golf cart and Harley in the back it goes up to 17.8K and the pin weight goes down to 2600.

I would like to say again. I have done nothing but state the facts about my truck and towing. I will not mention handles but will say that a few are not reading the posts real closely and understanding what has been said. I said that a picture of my truck WITH the RV at the time the photo was taken had a pin load of 4500#s. We had left the BlueRidge camp spot and before we left we totally filled all three tanks to the brim. The had supplies for 4 adults onboard. The pin load was indeed 4500#s. I made an earlier post on TDR and this forum about how easy it was to overload our trucks. The weigh ticket was another trip without all the fresh water and supplies. I supplied the ticket. So blatantly someone stated a 2100#s for a 36 footer. This entire post was about my rig and weights. It was not about how BIG I am. "I am a real bad boy but a real good man". Rigs are different. Many smaller RVs have greater pin loads than 38-40 footers. Depends on how a rig is built.
"Your telling ME about pulling trailers? " One poster claims about what I said. I really told HIM nothing.
This orginal post was about trying to help future buyers before they may make a large blunder in purchasing an inadequate truck.

i dont understand why everyone got upset about this thread. all he was trying to do was help future buyers not brag about his truck. even if he was bragging about his truck who cares. in a way everyone on here brags alittle about there truck. as for the guys knocking his truck or his views, i dont think that is fair to him or anyone else. thats his truck and he has every right to do with or to it as he feels fit. as for calling him a "big man" or a "little man"or whatever it was that isnt right either. we are on here to have fun with our trucks and to learn or help others out. please guys be curtious to our other members on here.

As before... the statement to keep it civil was a general one, however now i will direct it to you. Lighten up a bit.... you made a post, some people had some issues with it. A few of the first posts were out of line, but then you kept it coming.
Ram 3500 dually simply stated his bigger trailer had less pin weight, and then posted a link when you answered. Then you replied...
