Trailer lights aren't working

I borrowed a trailer from a guy at work and found out not all my trailer lights are working. I have no turn signals or brake lights, i do have running lights and trailer brakes. I dont see any brakes in the harness, all the connectors seem to be in good condition. I dont have an owners manual, is there any fuses inline on just the trailer light harness? No blown fuses under the hood. I thought about replacing the plug at the bumper. Any suggestions?
Towing on sunday, so i need to fix it tomorrow.

check all the fuses in the under hood box, Do you have brake/running lights on the truck itself? Are all the wires tighteneddown in the trailer plug itself, iveknown some to come loose and leave me spending 5 hours on the truckitself before my neighbor points out theres wires sticking out of the trailer plug

a quick way to check the plug on your truck take a 12 volt ligh stab tester and check the appropriat tang in the plug housing on the truck if the light goes on you have power to the plug and the trailer wire are bad somewhere

in trouble shooting always start at the source of the signal.but in your case i would start at the the plug-in on the back of your truck.with a test light, check all of your leads off of your truck .if they all work correctly then your truck isn't the problem.

trouble shooting is frustrating thing...have fun....lol

Well it only turned out to be the plug, i wiggled the trailer plug alittle and bent the prongs, then they started to work. Somehow i lost me license plate lights, fog lights and rear driver side running light using a test light last night.

I checked a running light to make sure the test light was working and after i put the light back in i had lost the lights
