Is there any advantages to having a 3/4 ton dually? Im thinking about doing a conversion on mine.

I would think that if you were putting a 1 ton dually aaxle underneath your truck,, use the spring packs from the axle you get and bolt those under the truck. That would give your 3/4 ton some 1 ton leaf packs and you will have the best of both worlds

One other thing to consider-- You will really want to mount that rear sway bar that the dually's have in the rear, it helps out alot. Not sure if the n3/4 ton trucks had them

That should be a good setup also, my 98.5 has a sway bar and so does my father in law's 06
