stock auto and towing

I just recently got new tires(approximately 33's) and have 3.55 gears. When i loaded up this weekend the load is approximately 7500 to 9000 lbs depending on weight of trailer. I have my prerunner loaded on it backwards cause the trailer is wider behind the wheel wells, so thats a little more wind resistence. I cant find a pic right now, but the trailer is approximately 21 feet in length, all metal and diamond plate and is a dual axle tractor trailer. Anyways, with the comp on level one, i was slowed down to between 50-55 on the steep grades. The tranny doesn't feel like its slipping, the pump is fairly new, no codes and good fuel pressure, Egt's only reached about 1200 and boost about 19lbs. It seems like it should have a little more go than that. How much of a slushbox is the auto, or could i be underpowered/undergeared somewhat?

The tires I got were a great deal though. I got the 4 tires shipped for 545. They are very similar to toyo AT's, size. 285\16 and load range E. I found them on Ebay. They are a good street, tow, and off road tire.
