Stock Wheels painted black on white truck

Anyone got pictures of their trucks with the stock wheels powder coated or painted black on a white truck. Thinking about doing it and just looking for some motivation ha.

Just did the other day. Here is the link

Black stockers

I did them on the truck and didn't take that long at all. I am thinking about de-chroming all of the truck. Any opinions? Money is tight and I have that itch!

It looks even better on white trucks, especially if you go with a ranchhand bumper. I have some pictures of random trucks like that on my work computer, but won't be back to work til monday though.

I just took some sand paper to my silver aluminum ones, then acetone to clean them, then i just took a rattle can to them, taping off the tires. We're all talking about 3rd gen tires, but i'm sure the 2nd gens will look good black too. Makes an easy way to not have to polish salt off the rims come spring if you have some aftermarket ones normally. Here's pictures of my 3rd gens without centercaps.

I painted my stock steelies, but they are not on the truck. Pics are in my gallery.

Get some self-etching primer (auto store or Wal-mart). Hit the wheels with some 400 grit paper and wipe them down. Spray with the primer, let dry and paint with your favorite choice of rattle can.

I cleaned them up real well, scuffed them up with some 320 grit paper, then used some self-etching primer to prime them up. For the paint I used some ceramic header semi-gloss paint.
