LT265/70R17/E - BFG All-Terrain T/A KO on a Dually

Any one running LT265/70R17/E - BFG All-Terrain T/A KO on a Dually on the stock wheels? I have a 2006 3500 and want a ~33" tall tire but not so wide I'm forced to install spacers between the duals.

If you running LT265/70R17/E's of any brand, how close to are are the rubbing when the truck us loaded?

I don't think the 265's are 33" are they? I thought closer to 32 and change? I have read that the 265's are fine if you run max psi and don't load really heavy but are really close. Seems like a 1/4" spacer would work. But get this from someone who has actually done it.

Joe, sorry I wasn't clear I wan't 33's but none to be found. These are just marginally taller (less than 1/2 of a percent) 31.8 vs 31.7. No one makes a 33" that has a section width narrow enough, and the LT245/75R17/E BFG All-Terrain T/A KO are shorter 31.6 vs 31.7. Wish they were making the BFG All-Terrain T/A KO's in the LT255/80R17/E like they will supposedly do for the Mud-Terrain™ T/A KM2's.

I am holding out for Dura Grappler's in 255/80- even driving the gas burners a lot more since I am down to the wear bars on several of my tires.

Or better yet if i can find some decent 18x12 wheels other than Cepek's, i will run 34" tall Firestone Destinations in 325/80-18 as a super single setup.

My tire dealer guys say 255 is max without spacer, but I read elsewhere that 265's barely work as described above...

i have 285/70/17 and they are a 33 inch tire and they are BFG a/t but i would suggest a little spacer just to be on the safe side

I have no idea, but if anyone will do it besides BFG on the KM2's, I would have to believe it would be Nitto. They seem to be one of the few large mainstream tire makers besides BFG willing to build the non-standard sizes...

ps- looked at my 235's spacing today, only about an inch apart at the bulge near max psi. I can see how 255's would "barely" clear under load, can't see how 265's would...
