Opinions on Hankooks

Does anybody run these or have any opinions on these?

Tire Details - Discount Tire Direct

I'm having trouble making a decision on tires. I thought I wanted the BFG AT's, but now not so sure. I don't like the fact that you can't get the BFG 285 in a E load rating. I pull a 10,000 lb fiver and would like the added stiffness of an E rating.

I never ran those particular tires, but did have some Hankook m/ts on an 86 GMC gasser plow/ranch truck. I was not impressed with them at all. The rubber compound seemed inferior to other tires in that the lugs would easily get chunks taken out of them. Of course running tire chains will speed this up considerably, but even running an 'off road' tire off the pavement did this. Maybe they have changed in the last couple of years, but I am now gun shy about Hankook.

My sister in-law is running them on her expedition and they seem to be working great! I am running the MT on my truck and have absolutely loved them. I would run anything before I threw them BF junks on my vehicles!

I ran the Hankook Dynapro MT RT03 on my Ford. I looking to replace the stock Michis with this tire soon. No issues what so ever. I did notice these are very quiet tires, especially for a mud tire.

Have run several sets of Hankooks, they worked fine for me for winter and highway miles, no off-roading here to speak of ... Yokahamas perform well for me too

The Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 is a new tire to the market. I haven't heard any negative comments on this tire from customers, but again, it is a new tire model. Check out these product details.
Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10
IMO its a well built tire. Hankook has built this tire in a good range of LT sizes and load carrying cappacity. It has an inner locking tread for less tread flex which in turn gives more milage.

DTD, thanks for your input. It is a good looking tire, and I like the fact that it comes E rated in a 285 size. I do have to get off the beaten path on occasion when we go ATV riding.

Any idea how it might handle a little sloppy mud?

It should do decent. It has a nice shoulder lug to help dig throw mud, rocks, etc. Anybody have any experience with these yet?
