Hi guy's, I've been watching this awesome thread with much interest. I've got a 04' with a 2" leveler. My 35" Procomp AT's are shot and it's time for a new set of tires. Problem I have is most here are stating that a rim with increased BS will cause fender rubbing. Seems that a stock rim off-set at 1.7" would cause more inner fender rubbing than more off-set. I'm running Micky T's Street-Lock rims and that rim is a 9" with a 5" BS (4" offset). That's a big difference from stock, but the more neutral you are in relative to where the tire sits to the wheel mounting surface, the less "swing" the tire will make in an arc. Also with more BS, you are farther away from the control arms. So the question is, why would more offset (wheel centered) cause more rubbing than with less offset (more BS) and thus eliminating my chance of running a 37" MTR. Help! --D |

My dually with leveling kit and stock rims on 37's
I finally put the 37's x 12.5 on my stock dually rims with leveling kit and rear wheel spacers to see how they would fit and it fits perfect. There is only a small part of the plastic fender well in the rear that I will have to trim a little shorter-maybe an inch but it all fits! I did not see any rubbing in the front even at full lock. There might be some minor rubbing if I do some major off roading but that's it. Here are the pics! These first three pictures are the front wheels at full lock---but no rubbing! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is the inside of the rear dually wheels next to the leaf springs. ![]() This is the inside rear fender well plastic that I will have to trim slightly---will take me maybe 5 minutest to do both sides with a razor blade and I bet you won't be able to tell! ![]() ![]() This is the ORU wheel spacer I used! ![]() These next pictures are of how far the wheel sticks out past the fender on the rear! ![]() ![]()

This is all I have for now before the 37's. I am ordering some Interco Vortracs 37x12.5x17 load e's now that I know they will fit. They should be in within the next couple of weeks. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry she needs a bath here....lol! I got that carputer from Mobile Computing Solutions. I had some problems with it but dealt with a couple of guys there named Chris Wood and Alex and they got everything resolved for me quick. The tail lights are recon that I got off of ebay. The one on the tailgate I had to smoke myself because nobody sold it that way. Thanks for the compliments also!
