My concern, were it my truck, would be the inside rears and whether or not they would come in contact with the spring packs or wheel well liner. I suggest you find a tire shop that is willing to let you test fit a set of tires and, if they don't fit, allow you to exchange them for the same tires in the next smaller size. You are, of course, going to need 2" spacers for the rear.
Thanks for the info....think I might give it a shot and as soon as I do I will be sure to post some pics and info on it!

Hey guys, been following along here, because I'm in the market for new tires too. I have 315 70 17 BFG AT'S and I've hated them (death wobble) they are finally worn out. I love the look of those 37's but I will never buy another set of tires for this truck unless they are E rated. I think I'm going with the tried and trueToyo 35 12.50 17 MT.

If you don't mind me asking why you won't go with anything except e-rated tires anymore? Were those BFG's you had not E-rated? If not what problems did you have with them? Thanks

I saw these tires today Pro Comp Xtreme MT, and they looked like a good tire for the type of tread they have.
And here is a good price on them throughout this week.
Only $221 per tire for a 315/70/17.

E rated tires are stiffer and usually have max air pressure of 65 lbs. - where as D rated tires have softer side walls and a max pressure of 50 lbs.. I think (as well as many others on this forum do) that this softer side wall on D rated tires is one of the causes of the death wobble. BFG AT'S are D rated.

Just out of curiousity, what e rated tires is everyone running? Plans are for a 5th wheel toyhauler or large gooseneck with custom toyhauler in front and probably 4 atvs in the back...

I really want to do 37's but I didn't even think twice about the towing issue...I don't want to do anything that will harm the towing

What is the reccomendation for a tire with 2" level...e rated

I'm running 35 x 12.5" on mine and not a problem in the rear with stock suspension.... not saying that ALL tires will work but my toyo mt's dont rub the rear leaf's

yeah, I am curious as to what e-rated tires everyone is running also that are 35's or 37's. I want an all-terrain but have seen none that are E-rated in that size Yet the load rating on these larger d-rated tires is way higher than what my stock size e-rated tires were
