U should b fine. I have plenty of room in the fenders and the bumper.
Even with heavy loads in the bed I don't have any issues...
Go 4 it. U will love it!

If you wanted to play it safe, add a level lift to the truck when you install the 37's. That should more than compensate for the added sag in the front end from the full replacement.

I've got a 2" or 2.5" HBS leveling kit sitting in the garage. Any idea if I will have to adjust the trailing arms with a leveling kit install? Or just have it realigned? Seems like those arms have some sort of adjustment mechanism.

Thanks,
MDL

The control arms are NOT adjustable. The little adjuster's you can see on them are for alignment purposes.

Just add the spacers, take it to a good alignment shop, and put rubber on it!

Agreed. I also have a HBS 2" level lift with a Thuren track bar and LazarSmith SSSSS and have PLENTY of clearance with my 325/70R17 (35x13.00R17) tires. My next set, most likely, will be 37x12.50R17 Yokohama Geolander A/T-S tires. I don't have a single worry about them clearing.

ok i found specs on the 37" mt/r's the outer diameter of the tire is 36.8 they also have a 4080LBS rating on them which is good So my thinking is we could use any tire that is about 37" or less in diameter and 12.5" wide... I would really like a wider tire so I guess I will see what I can find... I want an agressive tire that wears well and doesnt rub to much. Like was said before if it ain't rubbin' it aint big enough.

A wider tire will rub at a smaller diameter. ex....a 35x15.50 won't fit.

Yeah... I've read lots of posts on here with guys saying that 35" tires rub... but I think they all mean that the tires rub the control arms, not the fenders or the bumper. Some specificity would help... I don't have any concern about the tires rubbing the control arms. I just don't want to tear up my fenders when I'm rolling across the CRP pulling a trailer. After seeing NT2HLBLY's photos, and KAWIRAM's photos on another forum, I think those 37s will stuff... and I don't do any rockcrawling... just cross some ditches, some rough CRP, some really bad lease roads, etc.

I'm going to buy this week and I'm thinking those ProComp Extreme All Terrains look like a good deal. That 40K mile warranty is part of the decision. Any experience with the Pro Comps?

My 37x12.5x17 Pro Comp Extreme ATs should be sitting on my front porch sometime this week! I'll let you know how it goes. Maybe even post up some pics when they're installed.

Thanks for your input.

Well, if that's right then there are at least 2 different chrome steel wheels... my door sticker (2004) lists mine as 17x7.5 and my actual wheels measure that also.

That makes me wonder if there is more than one stock offset...
