Can not comment on the toyo m/t besides that several friends are running them and love them. I just got a extremely good deal on the bfg km2s and like them so far haven't had them on long enough to say how they are gonna wear. They are quieter on the rd than some previous mud tires and you don't feel the cleats when slowing down like the others I have had. Overall satisfied at this point.

I have the km2's they are quiet and very smooth. If you listen hard you can just barely hear them over the diesel with the clutch pushed in but you cant hear them at all when using any amount of pedel. I cant say much for wear but I have over 90k on a pair of BFG AT's and should get about 110k out of them. I expect at least half that out of these.

Ive been debating between both these tires myself.... My question is, how well do they handle in the snow and icy roads?

And exactly why do they "suck" so far they handel well for me and work fine in dry, wet weather. I havnt had them in snow yet but seeing as you live in TX I'm guessing you havnt either.

I also had wondered this...so I went to the source and asked 4WP here in town and another custom shop I use for my truck.... Both ride fairly well....the Toyo's tend to wear a lot faster than the BFG's do..both shops agree to this. BFG's do have lower road noise and tend to balance easier than than the Toyo's do. Personally I have only ran BFG's from day one and love them...they last forever and have great road manners and awesome off-road use. I have never used the KM2s though, only the original MTs and ATs. The Toyo MTs do look good on a truck though. Tommy

I have the KM2s and love them. I have 2 friends with the toyos and one hates them, and one loves them. I have 9k miles on mine and they show no wear. They arent very loud, cant hear them over the exhaust and intake. And as far as price goes, I paid $1020 for my KM2s mtd and balanced. Les schwab quoted me $1640 for the toyos. They cant be THAT much better. Heres leveled on 35s ![]() ![]()
