Best highway towing tire...

Im purchasing a 2nd set of stock 16X8 wheels in the near future to put stock sized tires on JUST for towing long distance with since my truck doesnt pull worth a damn in hills on the 315's with the 3.55 gears.

So, any suggestions for a tire that will never leave pavement available in stock 265/75. Just some stock Michelins? Sucks the LT2's are 200 bucks each almost for something im gonna use 2-3 times a year But to the tune of 2k+ miles each time i tow.

Jason

Stock Michelins or Dura grapplers would be the two best.

Nope

For what he wants? Firestone makes a real nice 10 ply M & S tire. They are around $147.00 each

Looks like i'll be getting Toyo M-55's in stock size and double them as my winter tire since my BFG's arent worth a on cold wet roads apparently, threw the truck sideways this morning pulling out of the shop

Gonna get some Toyo muds on 3rd gen 17s to bomb around on in the summer

Thanks for all the help! Any input is also welcome! Wont be buying for a few weeks, gotta few bills to knock out and these suckers are expensive

Why not find a set of stock 3rd gen take-off's? You'd kill two birds with one stone....
