Brake Issues With 17" Wheels?

Hey All,

I've been looking to put different wheels on the P/U, it's an '07.5 and on one wheel site, it said something about clearence problems with 17" aftermarker wheels. and brake calipers.

Anybody run into this problem?

TIA
GreyMatter

UHHH YEAH!!!! Ordered my first set of wheels for my truck and ran into that exact problem. Bought a tire/wheel combo so they came to me all mounted and balanced and ready to stick on the truck. I wish. I honestly spent 4 hours grinding down my calipers to make them clear. I know most wheels don't have that problem but mine did. It's been five years and have never had any issues with the brakes or anything else but I keep that in the back of my mind all the time just waiting for something to go wrong. It only took my that long to do it cuz I would grind a little, try to mount. . .grind some more. . .try to mount. I didn't wanna grind anymore that absolutely necessary. Finally made it work but boy was I a bit frustrated. I told the company what vehicle they were going on when I ordered them, I guess I just assumed they would get me what I needed. Should have sent them back but I had already had my truck lifted and didn't wanna wait any longer to get the tires and wheels on. So yes, it CAN happen.
