Military Goodyear 37x12.50x16.5 MT's

Just did a test fit for the wheel tonight. They fit! My truck has a 2" leveling kit on the front. It's pretty close, but then again, I've only got one front tire on so the axle is cocked sideways.

Here's some crummy cell pics from tonight. It's dark I'll have better ones tomorrow. And have them all on.

The fenderwells have already been cut prior to me owning the truck. I'm going to do a little bending of that bottom fender tab to gain a little more breathing room.

I'm thinking I'll install the 3" spacers, build some longer lower control arms, and a track bar bracket for some more clearance. But as of right now it clears lock to lock.

And about the wheels, yes they're oooold. But I've got a plan. I'm going to get a friend waterjet cut me some rock rings/faux beadlocks. Then paint them gloss black and install nice zinc'ed bolts.

The tires are about 90% or better. Picked them up for $350.

Made a compromise with the wife. I help pay for her to go back to college and finish up her becoming a Radiologist. That means the truck is here to stay for a bit. But I get to make it suitable for me. (Lift, already did the trans, and a little more power) Besides I only drive it when I need the truck. I ride my motorcycles 98% of the time. I hope I'll have the samurai going soon too.

Wheels will look better I promise. If my idea doesn't work out, I'll simply throw it on some nice craiger steels.

are those tires e-rated ?....id run those rims especially if i was goin to offroad er, nothing wrong with em maybe a lil heavy is all

Nope only D rated. But they are rated up to 3850lbs each @ 50psi. My current tires are only rated to 3300lbs @ 65psi.

I'd like to keep those wheels, just dress em up like I'm thinking. The backspacing and width work great just testing so far.

I've got about 8 sets of those 37 12.50 16.5 and also the 2 piece black H1 rims with 8 bolts and 12 bolts that bolt the 2 pieces together!BTW those tires look sweet on the red truck and bet they ride nice.Anybody want a set for $400!just that each tire weighs like 60-75 lbs I think

Yeah, those are really good tires...I have run them before. The ride on the street is really good and they are decent in the mud.
