285 75 r17

Anyone running this size tire? I need new ones and I have 285/70 17 now but want to fill the fenders a bit more. I am looking at the toyo MT or AT and I know nitto has them coming out this month. My question is is anyone running these on a third gen without a lift or leveling kit. If so please let me know what you think and possibly send me a pic.

Thanks

I looked at that size and ended up going with the Lt295/70/17 Toyo MT. It's about an inch less in diameter but a little wider. It fits without rubbing and now my speedo is dead on at 60mph. Looks good and these tires are very quiet. The clincher for me was the Lt295/70r/17 is rated at 3970lbs at 80psi and the Lt285/75r/17 is rated at 3195lbs at 80psi plus I know the size I bought are "Made in the USA" I would love to post pics but I can't figure out how to reduce the size in order to post. Trust me, they look good and no lift or leveling kit was required plus they fit the stock 17" rims plus they won't affect your gear ratio as much. That's all!

sorry

Well I tried to post pictures after resizing them and I'm obviously not capable of doing so. I will try to post them in my truck section so people can look there.

I've got Toyo Open Country AT in 285/75/17. I've had them on for about 20K. No problems and they are quieter than BFG AT and Goodyear AT/S. So far I like them. My truck isn't lifted and there is no rubbing, but I am running after market wheels with 12mm offset instead of the factory 32mm.

I've read on forums that a 305 will fit without lift and not rub using factory wheels.. but I don't know that first hand and would definitely check it out before buying.

I've got Nitto Terra Grapplers in 295/70-17 and they look great. Thats the size that shoulda come on the truck to begin with if you ask me. So far they are wearing excellent, and they ride nice and smooth and quiet. I'll never get another tire for my truck. Specially when I only paid 650 for 4 tires.
