Rockstars don't fit!

Alright I bought some wheels and tires. Rockstars and 35" Toyo M/T's They Rub pretty good on the back side of the fender. Right in front of the door.

Now How is the best way to trim? Or just use a hammer?

I need advice before I wreck my tires.

I would think a leveling kit at the least would help... My buddy used a saws-all, it didn't really turn out that great

i used a cutting wheel......also a dremel works pretty good. ....

if you don't trim that, its not your tires that's gonna be messed up. its gonna be your truck. it will rip everything off. good luck

I used a sawzall and just cut a straight line going perpindicular to the ground. I guess just then I cut the metal lip hanging down behind the fender and then I pulled the fender wells back and zip tied them there. 37's 4.5" lift no problems. You may also look at just buying a set of control arms or a leveling kit. I just sold my old 3" kit for 50 bucks.

Well you already have a leveling kit, cut out the fenders and put on the fender flares to cover the cuts :thumbsup

Yeah I already have a leveling kit.

I was just looking for a way to cut the fender. Like a series of parallel cuts and fold the metal back or just cut the metal away?

That would be the cleanest way to do it

take it to a body shop and give them some $$ to do it right. I watched a friend do his with a sawsall and screwed it up bad, then tried to straiten it out with a ginsu, which looked better but still not how i would want my truck to look.
