My dad is running 35X12.50X17 Cooper STTs on his factory steel chrome wheels. He has a leveling kit. I believe they put 1/8"-1/4" spacers behind the wheels, but i am not sure. i will find out.

I hear they would rub a bit. I put that on about 3 weeks ago. Now I feel stupid because I am getting a 6 inch lift withing the next month. I am hoping a 6 inch will look ok with 35's. I can't afford to buy a new set of 37, when these are less than a month old.

the reason for asking is that i have the 2.5 inch skyjacker on the truck now. im running a set of 33's well they are soon to be wore out. early next year i plan on a 4-5 inch lift. i figured that i could put the 35's on now and then when i get my lift i wont need to buy new tires. so just very minor rubbing unless i install a 1/4 inch spacer behind the wheel?

I haven't had mine rub at all. I might get some rub if i was making a tight u-turn. I think it would only rub at full lock with the stock rims. You should be fine. I was thinking of getting a 6" lift with some 37's and then maybe trying to fit some 39's later down the road. I like the look of the full wheel well.

35 will not rub with the lift unless you run a 10" wide wheel and what kinda of 33 are you running now? I could use them when you are done with them. I need 1/4" of tread max Rob
