how will they fit?

Ok the wheels should be here along with new tires this week. The rims are pro comp 6001's 20x9 with 4.5" backspacing and a 12mm offset. I am doing 305/50/20 Toyo proxes ST II's. Anybody have any idea how these will look on a 2nd gen with a leveling kit?

its going to be very low profile...and will probably stick out 4 inches or so

just for comparison, heres 35s on 20s for my truck...so knock that sidewall down to an inch on each side

Thanks that's a good comparison. Different wheels and tires but exact same truck:thumbsup

I have heard yes and no. I believe I have actually seen it done in pics before.

4.5"

based on what i saw with the test fit, it looked like they stuck out 4 inches, the tires back 1" past that so theoretically, everything will stick out 5 inches

depends on the wheels..most run 315s which are 11.5 inches wide, but iwht the right wheels, it can be done but not w/o a levelling kit

You can fit 35" with a leveling kit, I've seen several but they were all on stock wheels. Wheel offset affects tire fitment as much as lift does. I've seen guys with 6" lifts running 33" tires because anything bigger will rub due to the 10" wide wheels and 4.5" back space. I think the stock backspace is like 6.5".
