those pix look crazy........id be really scared if i had a set like that. these are my second set of bfg's. first set got my truck through the 1st 80k miles with no issues. new set should do the same..............bfg's all the way.:thumbsup

I think the swampers are more prone to this than other tires from what i've heard.

Yes, Swampers tend to be more prone to this. I've got some that have the bumps on them as well. Older swamper tsl radials. They are just trail spares tho.

i have some 38x13 tsl's and ive never had a problem out of them besides picking up every sharp object imaginable

Swampers have ben doing that for years. They have tried to outlaw them on the roads. They are soft rubber for off-roading. Not made to be driven on full size trucks every day. Its well known down here, they don't hold up to these 105 days.

this happen to my girlsfreinds step dads truck had bfg all terrains i beleive they are 35x12.5 17's 06 mega cab 3/4 ton pulling a 40ft toyhauler with a rail and two quads full of fuel and water im guessing around 17k pounds i dunno though some where around that. i think its from overloading the tires i was told that it happens when you get a tear in the belts of your tire and the air expands the outer layer of rubber creating that buble
