35" tires on aftermarket wheels

I have searched on the net, and the forums, but got no answers. I want to put 35" tires on 17" (or 18" if i have to) aftermarket wheels. My question is what what wheel width and backspacing do I need to have to fit with no level or lift kit. Thanks for the advice.

Exactly:thumbsup. You can run a 35X12.50 on the stock wheel with slight rubbing on the control arms at full lock.

Or go H2 Hummer wheels like alot of us and have NO rubbing. With only 2" of lift, and 35x12.50 BFG MT's on my H2 wheels, I have no rubbing whatsoever.

You can run 35s on H2s with no lift at all. I actually had more room at the rear of the fender opening before I installed my old leveling kit.

same ole question

Will any late model hummers wheels work with the eight lug pattern,I have a 08 2500 4wd and want the 35's on my truck with a leveling kit. I dont have the extra funds for a real lift kit for now and will have to go with coil spacers, which spacer kit is better than the others.
