BFgoodrich AT or MT

I run my truck mostly on the road but it does see some off road action here and there. The AT that I have on there now have gotten me stuck a few times. In stuff that should have never even spun in. I have looked at the reveiws and most say the MT is better on and off the road than the AT. Does any one have any info on other tires that get long ware I drive 20000 miles a year. Its on a 02 2500 4X4 size 315/75-16 Thanks

A lot of us on here run the Toyo M/T, you will pay for them but GREAT tire and long tread life. I have a little over 50k on mine

I would get the BFG KM2's because they are siped. The MT's are fine on and off road, but mine weren't that great in the rain. I had AT's before that and I liked them except for in the mud. The KM2s give you the best of both worlds at a decent price.

I loved the MTs on my old 95 half ton. I dont know how well they would hold up under the cummins, but i was pleased with the tread life on the 1/2

I went with the Toyo open country MT 315/75-16. I read alot of reveiws and these seam to out proform the BFG. The toyo's cost a little more but every one says they are the better tire. I guess you get what you pay for... Thanks

I wish I only drove 20k a year! Being that you don't drive much I would go with the mud terrains. Those tires have awsome reviews.

Had the new Toyo's insalled today. They are some meaty tires and love the side walls.I drove about 5 miles and they are realy smooth for a mud tire, and you really can't hear them over the motor sound. The down side let the 16 year old son go to the corner store, he comes back with a blown turbo. He said he was just drivin normal...I maybe sum dumb i an not plumb dumb! again you gotta love'm
