The Cooper tire you have listed is T-speed rated so it should outlast the other two just based on that alone. The Toyos you have listed are V-speed rated so they will have a tendency to wear a bit faster, sacrificing for the speed rating. Unless you plan on running your rig at 149+mph, I wouldn't worry about using a V-rated tire. The T-speed rating is plenty even if you're running 1/4 miles on a regular basis. It is rated for 118mph and that's based on duration at the given speed, so for racing, I wouldn't worry about using a T-speed rated tire. The higher speed rated tires are built with a harder compound for higher speeds but the harder compound will wear faster than normal. Hope this helps.

I thought about them but I had them on my SRT-4 a long time ago and they seemed to wear really fast. They are a heck of a tire though.

Thanks for the pointers. I like the cooper's and the toyos. I have seen alot more toyos on the road it seems like though. I think I will go with the coopers probly since they will last a little longer and they are cheaper

id say go with the toyo proxies s/t they have 305 50 20 wich is 32.1 tall and 12.4 wide and a 325 50 20 32.8 tall and 13.2 wide and have a load rating of 3086 for both sizes, and you can get them for a decent price too

The Proxes are EXTREMELY popular in the NW. I'll bet 75-80% of the SUVs running larger than stock rims out here are running the Toyos. My mom has them on her Yukon, and my sister has them on her VW Tuareg.

They are decent tires, but they aren't great in the rain, and suck in snow or ice.

If you're sold on the Toyos, maybe wait a bit as Toyo has released a new version of the Proxes. You can see them at Toyos website.

Oh believe me pete, I know what your saying... I can pick out tires for my current rig in a few minutes. Just depends on what I'm looking for i.e. size, highway or mudder, etc. ... I've got a tire picked for every situation...

But when I was looking at getting tires picked for an 08 rc/sb 2wd gaser I had no idea where to start. I knew what I wanted but didn't know what tires had what I wanted. It got really frustrating, really quick!
