Nitto Mud Grappler Question

I have a guy local that is trying to sell (6) Nitto Mud Grapplers. I don't have a dually so it would basically give me a couple of spares. But, I have never heard anything good about Mud's. I could get them for around 400 and am wondering if that is worth it for tires that all I hear about is how crappy they are but is it worth it for the price.

Who's run them or has any experience?

I wouldn't put those on my truck if someone paid me.

I have muds and I love em.... they are super loud on the highway though. My truck sees mud as much as possible (which isn't alot lately), but I love em and would probably get them again. If you stick to pavement you may want to get something else.
