Well I went tire shopping today....And I have had a change of heart for the 22.5s. I was looking to put some 33" or 34" ATs or MTs....well I got one qutoe for the BFG MTs km2 305/65 R17......$1997.00!!! So now I have decided that if its goin to cost me that much for just a set of tires....then Im goin to go ahead spend twice that and get my 22.5s and tires that last twice as long!

Hey Performance, how tall are your tires?

Exactly, I know it seems $4,000 is stupid for a set of wheels and tires. But, these tires are rated for 160,000 miles on a big rig at full air pressure. So, on a ton truck, they would probably dry rot before they wore out. The Sumitomo 727 tires that I am running are 36" tall. I have seen them with no leveling kit, but it seems close. I do have a 2" leveling kit on mine. I actually had a set of 19.5s backordered for 3 months and got tired of waiting. For a $1,000 more I got the 22.5s and I am so glad I did. I couldn't be happier.

Look at www.duallywheels4u.com. Mario is a great guy to deal with.

Yea I had looked at that website already. I seen your truck on the Customer gallery. I think thats what Im goin to do. I want to Alcoas with the long ovals though, not the circle holes. I have a 2.5" leveling kit so it should work out pretty good for me. I didn't really want that big of tire though.....Wanted to keep it around 34"

The tires are big, but they fill the fenders up. They are proportional to the fenders also. I like the oval holes too in the Alcoas. Matter of fact, I like them all. After you get them on, you will wonder why you hadn't gotten them first before anything else.

I just looked at the prices on the Duallywheels4U.com I can get a set of 22.5s for $500 more than 19.5s. I want the Sumitomos 908s, cuz I got to have some grip! I'll prolly get ready to get some in the next couple months...got to save up some dough....

Heard that! The 908s are great tires. I wish I would have spent the extra money to get all drive tires. The only problem with the 908s, is they tend to pick up a lot of rocks. Other than that, they're sweet.

Yea I kinda figured that when I saw them. I was looking at BF Goodrich website for commercial tires and they had an awesome, mean, aggresive tire. But I didn't see it any smaller than 42"

Yea I've heard lots of good things about that Company. I wish they had the Teardrop Alcoas instead of just the Holeshot Alcoas....And I don't care for a single one of the American Force wheels......

I don't know about now, but last year Mario at duallywheels4u had the best prices on the 22.5s and looks to still do. Trust me, I called everybody. Do some searching. $1 is a $1. I will say my wheels and tires were shipped to me on an airplane right here near my house from them. They were packaged very, very, good. Everything was perfect.

Well I think I have found me some 22.5s. Haven't seen them yet, but for the price I can't pass them up, if they look good. They are used, they came off a over the road truck. So shouldn't be bad. He sayd the still have road grime on them from the last rain. I'm goin to try to look at them tmrw. Now I just have to find some tires I like....
