Lookin' for some new Tires...Suggestions please!
I want tires with an "E" load rating, pretty quiet on the highway at 80 mph which is mainly where I drive. I want them to handle snow, rain, and ice excellently for my Montana winters and to do well off-roading when I need it. Is this too much to ask? Suggestions and pics would be appreciated.

Well, I'll have a three inch lift, and different wheels but they will be 17's. I can go anywhere up to 35's but I prefer to stay around 33's.

I'd say Michelin but I don't know how big they go. They will definitely last. Maybe BFGs? That's a tough combo you're looking for.

Go read peoples thoughts of BFG's before you buy. Discounttiredirect.com Alot of people havent liked the BFG's, but most like the Michelins. I have been looking for new skins on my work truck, and probably will go with either the Michelins, or the new Nitto Dura Grappler.

I ran 35" BFG AT's on my old Dodge 3/4 ton work truck. They started cupping at 5,000 miles. I rotated them, checked everything on the suspension, and then had a reputable off-road shop have a looksy as well. Everything was fine. Tires just wore funny. But, i have seen other folks who love them.

Toyo Open Country A/Ts Excellent wet/snow traction, pretty capable off road and ride fairly quiet. I'd say the same thing for the Nitto Terra Grapplers, but they just don't last as long as the Toyos. The Toyos and Nittos are actually from the same parent company. The tread is very similar between the two. Having run the Toyos and the Nittos, both on HD trucks the Toyos get the nod from me.

Toyo's or Michelins... Ive run most of the tires listed on this post... Ive run BFG's, Nitto Terra Grapplers, Toyo A/T's, Michelin, and GoodYears... The BFG's are good, but they want there money for them... Nitto's... wouldn't run them again.. hated the ones i had... GoodYear's.... you couldnt give me a set... Even just to tear up.... I have had a set of Toyo A/T's and loved them... I now have 2 sets of Toyo MT's on 2 different Cummins and will not buy anything else ever again..... Toyo now has a highway tire, Open Country H/T. Havent really heard anything on it yet, but its from Toyo and everything else they have are great.. they also have a 60,000 mile limited warranty...
