front wheel spacers

I have a dually with fender flares up front- does anyone have any negatives to speak about running wheel spacers up front? Maybe the billet spacers... I would like to widen the front out to the flare.

The concept gives me the willies, to tell the truth. I wouldn't do it unless the manufacturer of the spacer says it's okfor your application. LOTS of weight on the front end, and it already HAS a spacer. Plus it will be harder on the (already overtasked) balljoints, steering and unitized bearings. Just imagine it breaking.

Just my opinion. Good luck either way.
