1995 2500 can this be switched to duals??

I have a 95 2500 4x4

turbo desil

i beieve 8800 pound gvw axle setup
not the 7800

my stahl body on the back is rusted completly apart

If i could put dual wheels in the back
easily

I would like to switch to a 6 whl dump body

I use the truck mostly for junk yard runs and towing the ocasional bobcat

my record is 4700 lbs in the bed but she isnt happy. when loaded like that

With the dual whls it would be safer to drive loaded

Thanks guys for the help.. I love the site

I would think so. Prolly more to it than just a dual conversion kit. I'm not sure, so lets bump it to the top.

If u are refering to switching to a 1-ton chasis dump bed(like a regular dump truck, only smaller), U should only need to put the dual wheels on your stock rear axle. Would be like a stock cab & chasis setup without the bud wheels in the front. Get a set of overload springs and u would be set.
Now if u mean to keep some sort of stock type bed setup with a dump, u would need the spacers on the back to help clear the bed and inner dual tire. Since u are only using this thing for a junk yard hauler, u shouldn't need to swap in the spacers for the front to run bud wheels unless u want it to look stock like a dually.
