Alright! Let's try it again in black....
Rims that is. STs with Nitto 285/70R17s. I like this much better than the gold rims. I'm also thinking about putting a black pinstripe on the truck. Not a big one but the basic one like what would have come from the factory.....

Thanks men. I thought about a hockey stripe w/ a cummins logo in it but that might look cheesy. It's gonna get a plain pinstripe but it will look good. Maybe some pinstriping along the lines of the hood scoop too...

I like it. I've been looking to do something with the set i have in the garage from my 04.5 as I know that they're a dime a dozen around here. Mind if i ask about the detail of getting those painted? I've also considered picking up a set of the aluminum's and painting those up black...paint is less expensive then going to the tire store. Thanks... btw, i did like the way the gold matched the bottom trim, but i agree the black looks better with the chromed caps...

Thanks, All I did was scuff the silver argent paint up with one of the scuff pads they sell at the auto parts store in the paint dept. I wiped then down well with some degreaser, let them dry for a while and then shot them with a rattle can. The second time, when I painted them black, it was a bit more difficult because the tires were mounted so I had to mask them off and cover the tires so I didn't get any overspray on them.. I have a new problem now though!!! Now I wish I had gotten bigger tires.............

I still like the gold. It looked "old school"

Not that the black looks bad... because I've always been a fan of black wheels(long before it became a fad) but I don't like the tri-color thing you've got going on. I think if your keeping the gold along the bottom the black wheels and a pin stripe on top of that won't look good. So, I still favor the gold wheels.

I don't know. When I put one next to the other the black just seems to look a lot better...

I think I like the black better and a black pinstripe would look good also.
