Nitto Terra Grappler A/T vs. MT Baja ATZ

I've been running the Nitto's on my gasser for a couple of years. They are excellent tires. I recently saw the Mickey Thompson ATZ's and I think they look much better. Plus the load rating on the Nitto's is D and on the MT's E. Anyone had experience with both tires? How is the ride quality on the ATZ's? Is it as good as the Nitto's?

i can't speak to the nitto's but the ATZ's are extremely quite and ride very smooth. My friend has a set of 40's on his chevy and they ride like butter (considering he's sitting on 13+ inches of lift)...i would also think that if you ever decide to play around offroad that they would be leaps ahead. I've also heard of some people blowing out the nittos when hauling a heavy load around for lots of miles...

The Nitto's are a great tire but on these diesel trucks, expect to cook them in under 20k miles.

My MTZ's are wearing great. I have about 15,000 on them so far, and should be good for more than double that....

Ride seems good too.

I would think the ATZ's would be even better.
